Dress Code
Los Cerritos Uniform Policy
All LBUSD K-8 schools require that students follow a uniform clothes policy. The purpose of the uniform policy is to establish a positive climate which ultimately results in a quality educational environment for all students. Please label al jackets, sweaters, coats, lunch pails, and other personal belongings with your child's full name
Tops: (blue, white and red)
- White blouse (short or long sleeved) with collar
- White/navy blue/red polo shirt with or without collar
- White turtlenecks
- Los Cerritos logo T-shirts
- Navy blue, red or white one piece dresses
- No strapless, spaghetti straps, off the shoulder, low-cut, or tank tops
Bottoms: (Navy blue)
- Solid navy blue pants, shorts or jumpers
- Dark blue jeans (with no rips, tears or marks)
- Navy Los Cerritos logo sweatpants only
- Shorts or skirts must be long enough to reach fingertips when arms are extended downward
- No oversized baggy pants or shorts
Outerwear:
- Sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets can be any solid color with no logos
- Los Cerritos logo sweaters and sweatshirts
Footwear/Accessories:
- Shoes must cover the entire foot; close-toed shoes
- No sandals or any other open-toed or open heeled footwear may be worn
- No high heels may be worn
- No "Crocs", "Uggs" or "Heelys"
- Socks and accessories may be of any color
- Accessories must not have inappropriate designs
- Hats with a front and back rim may be worn outside, such as fedoras and sun hats
- Solid navy or red baseball caps with no logo may be worn outside
