On Saturday, May 16, 150 middle school students from across Long Beach Unified School District gathered at McBride High School to engage in hands-on challenges that fostered engineering, teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving.

The Long Beach Unified School District commends the remarkable 2026 Most Inspiring Students for embodying resilience, empathy, and hard work as part of Vision 2025's Graduate Portrait.

Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to eligible children enrolled in School Age Care or Expanded Learning Opportunities Program at 41 locations as part of the Long Beach Unified School District’s Summer Food Service Program.
